You've reached the right place. Whether you're attending one of our signature playshops, booking a fully facilitated creative experience for your group, or renting our space to run your own event, this page walks you through every option so we can get started.
The Space
The Creativity Bar is a one-of-a-kind creative venue in Nashville, about a mile from the airport and designed from the ground up to help increase your creative capacity and creative wellness. Every inch of this space was built to make your experience meaningful and unique.

What's Inside
The full venue includes a main open creative studio, a photography studio with backdrops and equipment, a lounge and conference room, a warming prep kitchen for catering setup, and dedicated spaces for materials, setup, and breakout activity.
No Furniture Rentals Necessary
We have everything you need to configure your event. Enjoy a variety of table shapes and sizes (long, rectangular, round, bar height, display style, etc) for activities, food, or materials, and cushioned banquet-style chairs. Linens and signage are included.
Audio, Visual, and Tech
75in TV screen, Bluetooth speaker system, rolling dry erase board, a variety of lighting options (bright white, warm amber, and RGB colors), and Wi-Fi throughout. You can also bring in your own production equipment with prior approval and business hour friendly volume agreements.
Creative Materials and Supplies
Depending on your rental type, you may have access to our curated library of creative materials, supplies, and activity kits, including coloring pages, mixed media materials, and much more. Photography studio backdrops and equipment are available for photo-based rentals and events.
Catering and Food
The Creativity Bar typically has water, coffee, and tea for your comfort. We can help you coordinate and setup meals and catering. You are welcome to bring in licensed and insured outside caterers, bartenders, and food service vendors. Our warming prep kitchen includes over 8 feet of stainless steel prep space, a commercial warming cabinet, microwave, refrigerator, and a freezer. Depending on your event dynamics, BYOB and potluck might be an option with signed waiver liability release agreements. Let's discuss!

A Note on Our Aesthetic
Our space is designed with a signature black-and-white coloring book aesthetic, backed by neuroscience research showing that bold black outlines stimulate creativity and imagination. To protect it, we do not allow paint, glitter, confetti, open flames without prior approval, or anything that could damage the hand painted installations or surfaces. No tape or adhesives on walls either. We think you'll find the space does most of the decorating for you.

Why Adults Only?
We hold space specifically for grown-ups because we believe adults deserve a place where caregiving doesn't compete with your creative time. This isn't about activities being inappropriate for kids. It's about creating an environment where you can be fully present, go all in with your curiosity, and let yourself play without young ones (deservedly) shifting how you show up. Our venue design, our materials, and our mission all point to the same thing: this space was made for YOU and your inner-child-exploring-adult-crew.

Choose the option that best matches what you have in mind. Each path has its own pricing, structure, and booking process.
Option 1: Small Group Gathering
A celebration, friend reunion, or casual hangout for up to 12 people at your designated table. You gather the folks, we set the stage with a buffet of D.I.Y. or lightly facilitated activities.
VIP Table — $300 for 3 semi-private hours
Option 2: Fully Facilitated Experience
You bring the people, we design and run the whole experience. Ideal for groups who either: a) want to dig deep into hands-on making with customized design, or b) want TCB to organize and handle every detail of a meaningful creative event.
Starting at $40 per person
Option 3: Private Venue Rental
Rent the full 2,000 sq ft venue or specific spaces and run your own event, your way. You handle the coordination and programming. (w/ optional creative add-ons and support + venue customization for an additional fee)
Full venue starting at $200/hr & Individual rooms start at $35/hr

The VIP Table
Reserve a dedicated semi-private space at The Creativity Bar for your small group. You bring the people and the good energy. We handle the rest.

Want more? You can add on optional DIY Menu items (per person, per selection) or choose from our Facilitated Experience add-ons, led by a TCB facilitator, based on availability. Most groups find the included activities are more than enough, but the options are there if you want to go deeper.

Heads up: The VIP Table is a semi-private experience, meaning other guests may be in the studio at their respective spaces. If you want exclusive use of The Creativity Bar for your group, a private venue rental is the right fit.

You have a vision. We have the space. Rent The Creativity Bar and bring your event to life in a setting designed to make everything feel more inspired.
Starting at $200/hour
Full venue rental. You handle all facilitation, event coordination, promotion, and guest management. Optional TCB event support available at an additional rate and is not assumed.

The Creativity Bar hosts a rotating calendar of themed creative happy hours, playshops, and special events. These are open to folks who want a guided creative experience without a private booking. A Note on Equity and Access
Our pricing reflects the value of what we offer and ensures that every facilitator, artist, and the physical space that makes The Creativity Bar special is compensated/maintained appropriately. We don't cut corners on people, materials, and a radical hospitality experience for YOU. Our rates make that commitment sustainable.
We also know that financial circumstances vary, and we don't want cost alone to be the reason someone can't experience our mission-driven work.

A limited number of equity and access rates are available for individuals and organizations navigating high impact, low resource moments, considered on a case-by-case basis. If this is you, let's have a conversation.
